HELIOS - Variable-pattern vacuum-tube condenser microphone

With a complete low-end response and a smooth, beautifully detailed high-end presence, the HELIOS is designed to give perfectly accurate results but with the inherent warmth of valve circuitry, thanks to its vacuum tube.

Using a sensitive 1.07-inch capsule isolated by a latex mount within the large grille, the HELIOS ensures total precision in your recording. Its design allows you to transparently position your subject within a mix without having to resort to heaps of EQ and dynamics processing to do the job for you.

The HELIOS comes with its own SPS-1 power supply, which has a variable pattern control, allowing a smooth transition from omni to figure-of-eight and anything in between. Click here for SPS power supply operation instructions.
