Fostex 6301 Series

An in-built 10 watt amplifier, perfectly matched to a 10cm full range driver delivers a big sound, full of clarity from this small, versatile monitor. Best used in pairs, they accept any line level input (6301B / BX) or digital input (6301D), so they are ideal for use with instruments in project studios, on stage, in remote recording vehicles, video productions & multimedia presentations.

Manufactured from cast aluminium, these great little monitors have earned a high reputation among production, broadcast & presentation professionals for being rugged & road worthy.

25 years of performance, quality and engineering excellence.

It was twenty-five years ago when Fostex developed and launched the very first model “6300” in 1982 to meet the demand from the market for a handy personal monitor speaker, and even Fostex did not expect it to last for such a long time without frequent enhancements. The 6301, be it the analog 6301B, the XLR equipped 6301BX or the more recent digital 6301D has, like Fostex been at the top of its game for over 25 years. The total production so far is more than 300,000 units and has been used in hundreds of broadcast stations around the world
including BBC in UK and NHK in Japan to name a few.

The 6301 Series is a testament to the reliability and consistency of the “Fostex” brand of products. It is very hard to find a product that’s been around for more than twenty-five years in this industry. Fostex attributed this incredible and almost unbelievable fact as the result of great effort and support of their vast distribution and dealer network all over the world.
